- A Safe Birth for Haja: Haja, a 22-year-old mother from Karene District, benefited from MAP’s maternal health program. After attending prenatal workshops and receiving a care package, she safely delivered a healthy baby at a local health center. “MAP’s support gave me confidence during my pregnancy,” Haja shared.
- Mohamed’s Recovery Journey: Mohamed, a farmer in Portloko, suffered from repeated malaria infections. Through MAP’s health outreach, he received treatment and a long-lasting insecticidal net. Mohamed says, “I haven’t been sick since I started using the mosquito net, and now I can work better to support my family.”
- A Lifeline for Aminata: Aminata, a 17-year-old struggling with mental health issues, found support through MAP’s counseling program. With access to regular sessions and a supportive community, Aminata has regained her confidence and now speaks to her peers about the importance of mental well-being.
