Mobilize Against Poverty (MAP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and empowering marginalized communities in Portloko and Karene Districts. We implement sustainable programs in agriculture, education, women’s empowerment, climate change, livelihood development, healthcare, and water and sanitation.

You can get involved by:

• Volunteering with us in any of our programs.
• Donating to support our initiatives (one-time, recurring, or in-kind donations).

MAP operates primarily in Portloko and Karene Districts, with offices in Freetown and Portloko City. We work closely with local communities to ensure the success of our programs.

100% of donations go directly to funding our programs. Donations help:

• Provide agricultural tools, seeds, and training for farmers.
• Support children’s education with supplies and scholarships.
• Empower women through skill development and microfinance.
• Build clean water and sanitation facilities.
• Deliver healthcare support and climate change initiatives.

Yes! When donating, you can specify which program (e.g., agriculture, education, women’s empowerment, etc.) you’d like your contribution to support. If no preference is indicated, your donation will be directed to where it’s most needed.

Yes, MAP is legally registered with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED) of Sierra Leone as a non-profit organization operating in Sierra Leone since 2020.
