Maboni
Section
Brief overview of Maboni section
Maboni Section, located in Maforki Chiefdom, is home to hardworking farmers, traders, and families striving for a better future. However, poor infrastructure continues to limit economic activities, education, and access to essential services.
Key challenges
- Deplorable Feeder Roads – The main roads connecting Maboni to surrounding communities are in extreme disrepair, making transportation difficult, especially during the rainy season.
- Broken Bridges – Several small bridges that link villages within the section are either collapsed or near collapse, making it dangerous for farmers, schoolchildren, and traders to move freely.
- Limited Economic Opportunities – Due to poor road conditions, local farmers struggle to transport their produce to markets, leading to financial losses and food wastage.
