Zainab’s Educational Journey:
Zainab, a 15-year-old from Portloko, struggled to attend school due to her family’s financial difficulties. MAP provided her with a scholarship and mentorship support, allowing her to complete her secondary education. Zainab now plans to become a nurse and give back to her community. She says, “MAP helped me believe in myself and my future.”
Aissata Builds a Business:
Aissata, a 32-year-old single mother from Karene, learned tailoring through MAP’s vocational training program. With her new skills and a small loan, she started a clothing business. Today, she not only supports her children’s education but also teaches other women in her village tailoring skills.
Haja Takes the Lead
Haja, a 20-year-old from a rural village, attended MAP’s leadership training workshops. She is now a community leader who advocates for clean water and education for girls. “I never thought I could lead, but MAP showed me that my voice matters,” Haja shared.
